An L3x3x1/4 angle provides horizontal bridging secured to a concrete or masonry wall using three 3/8-inch-diameter Hilti KH-EZ concrete screws with a 2-inch minimum embedment. Welded horizontal bridging is provided by the joist manufacturer between the open web joists. Welded diagonal bridging is installed at midspan as required per Steel Joist Institute requirements, alongside welded diagonal bridging at wide-flange beams where applicable.
