Cold-formed metal ceiling joists bear on a continuous top track of a metal stud wall, secured with two number eight screws at each joist. Additional 362T125-43 ceiling ties are anchored to the top of the framing with a minimum of two number eight screws at each joist. The metal stud wall is framed with studs of 33 mils minimum thickness, fastened to the top track with two number eight screws at each stud and two number eight screws at each block. Where a T-bar ceiling occurs, the finish and framing are coordinated per architectural drawings.
