The assembly features a hollow structural section or box column connected to steel framing elements using a one-quarter-inch bent plate typical, angle sizes three by three by one-quarter inch, and sixteen gauge filler plates. Angles are detailed per metal deck support at the column detail with a maximum spacing of three inches. The section view details three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch studs at nine inches on center at the column only with a minimum of two per column, welded with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. A steel beam connects to the column per the framing plan. A note indicates conditions are similar at exterior corner conditions and at opposite column orientations.
