A collector beam connects to each side of a structural frame column web using a bolted shear connection sized per plan and frame elevation. Continuity plates are provided across the column web as required per the collector detail. Stiffener plates are also included at the beam-to-column web intersection as specified by the collector detail reference 11/S3.02.
