Beam-to-column framing conditions occur at a wide-flange column strong axis. Plate sizes and bolting are sized per plan and reference schedule 6/S-503 or 12/S-503 for high load connections. Strut beams attach to each side with kerf plate sizes and bolting configured per the high load connection schedule. Additional high load connection details apply where indicated on opposite sides of hollow structural section or pipe columns.
