This connection detail joins two adjacent concrete tilt-up panels using a pair of continuous 3/8-inch by 10-inch steel plates. Each plate is anchored into the panel concrete with one 3/4-inch diameter by 5-inch long headed stud anchor and one 1/2-inch diameter by 36-inch long deformed bar anchor, both spaced at 16 inches on center. The steel plates are joined at the panel joint with a 1/4-inch fillet weld applied in a 4-inch weld, 12-inch on center intermittent pattern. U-shaped reinforcing bars matching the horizontal reinforcement are provided to tie the embed assembly into the panel core.
