A reinforced concrete slab is supported by steel decking running perpendicular to structural steel beams with welded studs as required. The slab edge features a continuous fourteen gauge bent plate edge form with a one-half inch return at the top and two number four continuous bars for a cantilever up to two feet maximum. Additional number three bars at six feet zero inches long spaced at twelve inches on center are provided at cantilevers and at W twenty-four and deeper beams. A number three continuous bar is wired to the studs to support welded wire fabric or reinforcement. Clearances include one inch to welded wire fabric and three-quarters of an inch to rebar typical, with two inches minimum bearing and three inches minimum.
