A utility pipe rests within a backfilled trench running parallel to a concrete footing, maintaining a two-foot minimum horizontal clearance from the footing edge. The bottom of the trench must remain above a 2:1 downward slope line projecting outward from a point six inches above the bottom of the footing. The concrete footing and slab dimensions are sized per plan and schedule.
