A hanging hollow structural section HSS 3x2x1/4 tube suspends a lower HSS 3x2x1/4 ceiling member from an overhead steel beam sized per plan. The connections are secured with a typical one-quarter inch fillet weld. A continuous edge tube runs along the perimeter, supplemented by steel stud infill spaced at sixteen inches on center.
