A structural steel beam frames into the web of a column using a single plate shear tab connection. Continuity plates are aligned with the beam flanges inside the column web, with additional plates added where required per perpendicular beams. For W16 and deeper beams, the shear tab is extended down to the bottom-most continuity plate. All bolt holes are standard without slotted holes, and connection sizing follows the structural schedule.
