This structural steel connection details a diagonal brace framing into a column web with a gusset plate whose thickness and properties are defined per schedule and notes. Stiffener plates of the same thickness as the gusset plate are welded to the column web opposite the connection. The gusset plate features a three-inch minimum typical radius at corners, with specified pullback distances from the work point. Fillet welds connect the gusset and stiffener plates to the structural members on each side as indicated by welding symbols.
