A cold-formed metal stud wall frames at the floor edge alongside a concrete-filled metal floor deck bearing on a structural steel beam. The metal stud connects to a bent plate using a fourteen-gauge clip fastened with two powder-actuated fasteners and four number ten screws to the stud. An angle brace where required uses a 362S162-43 member secured at each stud with two Hilti XU powder-actuated fasteners into the steel beam flange. Four number ten screws attach typical stud-to-stud connections. Concrete and reinforcing over the metal floor deck are sized per the deck schedule.
