A buckling-restrained brace connects to a gusset plate welded to a steel column and steel beam framing system below a roof deck. Stiffener plates are provided on the near side and far side as required by the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer and CoreBrace specifications. Steel beams frame into the steel column with bolted shear tabs near the work point.
