Roof beam bracing featuring a steel bar joist spaced per the roof framing plan and tied with a 3"x3"x1/4" angle brace at each joist. The angle braces are welded to the supporting steel beam with a 1/4-inch fillet weld, specified to be executed after the roof is installed. Additional welded connections with 3/16-inch fillet welds secure the bracing assembly. Brace locations must be coordinated with sprinkler pipes.
