A three feet eight inch long L3x2x1/4 long leg horizontal angle is centered beneath the opening to support the cut deck flutes for a roof deck opening less than sixteen inches in size. Three half-inch self-drilling screws are fastened through two valleys on each side of the opening to anchor the deck to the supporting angle.
