Five-eighths inch ASTM A572 Grade 50 steel plates form the tread hold-back assembly supported by a channel stringer. Intermittent fillet welds secure the plates with a three-eighths inch size on a twelve-inch pitch. Gaps between welds are filled with joint filler per architectural specifications to maintain a consistent aesthetic appearance.
