An insulated metal panel with a non-combustible mineral wool core providing a minimum R-15.2 thermal performance attaches to the exterior of a concrete wall. A fluid-applied air and weather-resistive barrier coats the exterior face of the concrete substrate. Galvanized steel hat channels secure to the concrete via through fasteners, with sizing and spacing delegated to the design engineer. Exterior insulated metal panels fasten through the hat channels with fasteners sized per delegated design.
