A continuous five-sixteenth-inch bent plate ledger anchors to the structural wall using three-quarter-inch diameter stud anchors spaced at twelve inches on center with start bolts eight inches from the end, reinforced by one continuous number five rebar. Two seven-eighth-inch diameter through bolts secure the timber framing inside each leg of a two-and-a-half by two by one-quarter-inch angle spaced at forty-eight inches on center. A four-by-six number two Douglas Fir timber is supported in a Simpson F hanger at four feet on center, with a six-by-eight Douglas Fir number two minimum sub-purlin supported in a Simpson W hanger as required. A strap with pins is fastened per the nailing note at four inches at beam purlin spacing.
