A steel truss top chord connection is supported by a double angle and 50 KSI fitted plate with a thickness matching the WT web. The assembly is secured using complete joint penetration welds with specified minimum dimensions. Truss bridging is referenced at detail 9 on sheet S622, and a maximum gap of 3/4 in. is maintained.
