Structural wall bracing connections are oriented both parallel and perpendicular to metal deck construction. Bracing members utilize L3x3x1/4 angles with an eight-foot maximum length welded to PL3/8x4x0'-4 plates and intersecting structural supports. The parallel detail anchors an L6x4x3/8 LLV angle directly into the deck flutes using two three-quarter-inch diameter expansion anchors with three-and-a-quarter-inch embedment spaced at twelve inches on center. The perpendicular detail employs an L6x4x3/8x1'-6 LLH angle secured similarly with expansion anchors and gusset plates. All connections feature three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds with one-inch returns as indicated.
