An angle kicker brace connects to a roof joist using a three-sixteenths inch typical fillet weld. A four-inch by four-inch by one-quarter-inch angle measuring one foot zero inches long is placed at the panel joint. A three-inch by three-inch by one-quarter-inch angle kicker is provided at each joist with welds specified at three-sixteenths of an inch. Section A-A provides a zoomed-in profile view of the top chord connection assembly.
