An HSS10.75 girt is framed into a supporting assembly using a 3/8-inch end plate welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld. A 5/8-inch centered plate and a 5/8-inch by 12-inch by 1-foot-0-inch centered plate provide gusset reinforcement at the connection. The member aligns along grid line MM at a 35-degree angle.
