A beam-to-column connection in a braced frame system features diagonal braces intersecting at a common working point. Gusset plates are provided by the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer and connect to the braces using multiple rows of bolts. Stiffener plates are installed on the column web per the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer requirements to handle concentrated loads at the connection zone. Diagonal braces are positioned as indicated per the elevation and where required by the structural layout.
