A precast or cast-in-place concrete screen panel with a specified compressive strength of 3,000 PSI is anchored atop a reinforced concrete grade beam footing. Two continuous number five reinforcing bars run near the top of the panel and within the footing, supplemented by vertical bars designated as "A" and horizontal bars designated as "B". A two-inch grout layer sits beneath the panel at the erection pad. Backfill and drainage material are placed per geotechnical recommendations against a waterproof membrane applied to the back face of the panel. One-and-a-half-inch diameter weep holes are spaced at four feet on center near the base.
