This assembly consists of an 8-inch thick reinforced concrete wall supported by a 2-foot wide concrete footing. The wall is reinforced with number 5 vertical bars spaced at 14 inches on center each way, centered within the wall thickness. Hooked dowels extend from the footing into the wall to match the vertical reinforcement, with lap lengths determined by the general structural notes. A concrete slab-on-grade connects to the wall, with slab specifications referenced to the civil drawings and frost depth requirements noted per general structural notes.
