Two-sided structural steel connection framing infill beams into a supporting girder web using bolted shear tabs. A structural tee section matches the beam flange width and is welded to the bottom flange with a quarter-inch fillet weld when beam depths differ by more than one inch. The connection incorporates complete joint penetration welds at the top and bottom flanges with a maximum one-inch clearance where required. Bolt count, size, spacing, and edge distance comply with American Institute of Steel Construction specifications.
