Diagonal bars at the foundation wall corner maintain a one and one-half inch typical clearance from the corner vertex. Each diagonal bar requires a minimum development length of two feet zero inches on both sides of the corner. Spacing remains equal on both faces of the foundation wall to ensure structural continuity at the corner junction.
