A cruciform shear lug measuring 2 1/2 inches by 6 inches by 2 feet 7 inches is embedded into the foundation and welded to the base plate with a complete joint penetration weld. The assembly features a two-inch vertical clearance above the concrete and a four-inch embedment depth for the shear lug. Dimensions locate the connection relative to the grid line with a ten-inch and one-foot nine-inch offset.
