A knife plate extends vertically through a pile cap embedment assembly, tied with alternate collector bars on each side of the knife plate. The embedment plate connects to vertical anchor rods secured with nuts at the top and bottom embedment levels. A minimum six-inch dimension marks the height above the embedment plate to the top of the pile cap per plan. Fillet welds secure the structural components as specified in the weld schedule.
