The assembly utilizes 5/8 inch by 5 inch by 0 feet 6 inch plates, a shim plate measuring 5/8 inch by 6 inches by 0 feet 6 inches, and a canopy stiffener plate. Fillet welds of 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch sizes secure the plate elements. High-strength bolts with nuts secure the connection across a 4-inch spacing.
