A concrete slab on grade is supported by a grade beam sized per plan, featuring a six-inch minimum notch detail. Slab on grade reinforcement is installed per plan, tied with number four bars at sixteen inches on center. Two continuous number four bars run along the notch with additional number four by three-foot bars at twelve inches on center.
