An HSS stair stringer frames into an HSS beam using an L4x4x1/4 angle measuring zero feet nine inches long. The connection is secured with three three-quarter-inch diameter A307 through bolts specified as snug tight with instructions not to overtighten. A one-quarter-inch fillet weld with a two-inch return is applied at the connection assembly, maintaining standard clearances including a one-inch maximum gap and three-inch typical bolt spacing. Finishes and stringer sizes are coordinated per the architectural and structural plans.
