This plan detail shows a wide flange beam framing into the web of a wide flange column with an extended standard bolted connection. The shear connection plate is welded to the column web with modifications requiring an increased weld size and plate thickness by three-sixteenths of an inch where indicated. A wide flange beam occurs on both sides of the column at this grid location. The beam web is bolted through the single plate shear tab with a vertical line of fasteners.
