A supported steel beam framing into a supporting beam at an angle up to forty-five degrees maximum. A full-depth shear cleat connects the two members with fillet welds provided on each side all around. The shear cleat width is increased by twenty millimeters to accommodate the skew. Bolts secure the connection through the cleat web.
