A continuous L5x3x1/4 angle supports the metal roof deck adjacent to a steel beam carrying concrete over a metal floor deck. The metal roof deck bears on the continuous angle with a 3/16-inch fillet weld at 12 inches on center. The concrete floor deck is secured to the supporting steel beam with 1/2-inch diameter deck bridge anchors spaced at 18 inches on center. A vertical leg extends upward from the angle with a 1/4-inch fillet weld at 12 inches on center.
