Provide low-density expanded polystyrene bead board one inch thick at the sides and three inches thick at the end where buried in concrete. Maintain a one inch side clearance and three inch end clearance between the casing and concrete. Provide blockout material in hatched regions as shown, but do not place material around the gusset or connection region so that concrete directly contacts the gusset.
