A C8x11.5 channel beam is supported at each end by an MC12x10.6 channel. An L2x2x1/4 structural angle is welded to the web of the supporting channel with a quarter-inch fillet weld and provides a bearing seat for the channel beam. Three-quarter-inch diameter expansion anchors spaced at maximum one foot six inches on center secure the assembly.
