A structural steel wind girt connects to a tilt-up concrete wall panel using a continuous connection angle of L5x3x1/4-inch section with long leg horizontal. The angle is welded to the steel beam with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld at six inches on center alternating with twelve inches. A three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld secures the angle to the embedded plate within the concrete panel. The steel beam size and location are referenced per structural sheets S221 through S223.
