A GFRC panel bearing connection anchors to typical structural beams sized per plan. An L4x4x6 inch structural angle brace ties into the top flange of the beam, aligning with a three-eighths-inch full-height plate skewed to match the brace geometry. A typical one-quarter-inch fillet weld secures the connection components. A precast bearing joint is provided by the precast contractor below the framing elements, maintaining a four-foot six-inch vertical dimension to the top flange.
