A rooftop unit rests on a curb supported by a channel located in the deck flutes as shown. A tapered block is placed beneath the curb assembly over the channel. The framing connects through the metal deck with a one-eighth inch weld. The actual configuration of the frame to support the mechanical unit is supplied by the mechanical engineer.
