A structural steel column with a size and type designated per plan is centered within a base plate and anchor bolts configured per plan. The surrounding concrete infill is cast after the column base plate has been grouted. Number 4 trim bars are centered typically around the perimeter with two inches of typical clearance. The assembly is bounded by a control joint or construction joint.
