A structural steel stair stringer frames into a supporting steel beam at the floor slab edge. The stair pans and stringer sizes are sized per plan and welded to the structural framing with one-quarter-inch fillet welds. A concrete slab over metal floor deck meets the support beam with a one-inch vertical clearance. Additional stair stringer alignment and sizing are coordinated with architectural drawings.
