Cold-formed steel ceiling joists bear on a continuous top track of a metal stud wall, secured with two number eight screws at each joist. Three hundred sixty-two T one twenty-five, forty-three mil ceiling ties are fastened to the joists with two minimum number eight screws at each joist. The metal stud wall framing is built with thirty-three mil minimum members, with two number eight screws at each stud to top track and two number eight screws at each blocking. Ceiling joist and wall stud sizes are specified per schedule.
