Normal cross bridging is provided by the joist manufacturer between steel joists, incorporating a continuous angle of size L2x2x3/16 minimum at each line of cross bridging. The continuous angle is anchored to the structural wall using two 5/8-inch diameter expansion anchors at 3 inches on center, placed within 3 inches of the bridging location with a 3/16-inch fillet weld.
