A continuous wide-flange beam bears onto a hollow structural section column with structural angles placed on each side of the HSS. The angles are sized as L8x4x1/2 with long legs vertical, featuring two 1-1/2-inch vertical short slot holes. Two 3/4-inch diameter A325 bolts are positioned at the bottom of the vertical slot holes typical. The beam size and offset conditions are sized per plan with a minimum 1/2-inch clearance.
