A structural steel beam frames into a cast-in-place concrete wall, bearing on a formed concrete ledge or pocket. An anchor bolt secures the upper framing assembly to the concrete wall above. A gravel sub-base and concrete slab-on-grade abut the lower portion of the concrete wall.
