The assembly connects steel beams to the web of a wide flange steel column using bolted web plates and continuity stiffener plates. Stiffener plates are welded to the column flanges and web. Web plates connect the beam web to the column web or to a shared center plate with bolts following typical bolt spacing and edge distance requirements.
