An angle kicker member spans between an edge beam and an interior beam to provide lateral bracing. The kicker member consists of an L4x4x3/8 angle for lengths up to ten feet, or an L5x5x3/8 angle for lengths up to fifteen feet. Three-eighths-inch minimum stiffener plates are welded to the supporting beams with quarter-inch fillet welds. Clearances and minimum weld dimensions are specified at each connection point, with locations and spacing sized per plan.
