A three-sixteenth-inch continuous bent plate forms the roof edge assembly, welded to the top flange of the supporting steel beam with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld spaced at three to twelve inches typical. The metal steel deck bears directly on the top flange of the steel beam adjacent to the edge condition. An orthogonal framing steel beam is shown perpendicular to the main member where conditions occur.
