An MC12x10.6 channel connects to a C8x11.5 channel using a quarter-inch by four-inch full-height connection plate welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld. A typical stiffener plate is welded to the C8 channel with a quarter-inch full-height weld. The C8 channel is secured using three-quarter-inch diameter expansion anchors spaced at a maximum of one foot six inches on center.
